Step 1: Remove Footrest and Pull Up the Lower Lock
- Remove the Footrest: Gently lift the footrest from its slots. Note that the footrest might be a little stiff when you first get the buggy, so apply steady pressure.
- Pull Up the Lower Lock: Locate the lower lock, which is usually near the base of the buggy. Firmly pull it upwards to unlock the lower frame. This will start the folding process.

Step 2: Pull Up the Upper Lock
- Locate the Upper Lock: Find the upper lock positioned higher up on the frame.
- Engage the Upper Lock: Pull it upwards. This unlocks the upper section of the frame, allowing further folding.

Step 3: Unlock the Sides by Pulling the Red Pulley
- Locate the Red Pulleys: These pulleys are on both sides of the buggy, near the middle of the frame.
- Pull the Red Pulleys: Firmly pull both red pulleys. This action will release the side locks, enabling the buggy to fold up compactly.
Step 4: Push Down the Handles and Fold
- Push Down the Handles: With the side locks disengaged, push down the handles of the buggy. This will cause the buggy to collapse inwards.
- Ensure Proper Folding: Make sure the buggy folds smoothly and all parts are aligned properly to avoid any damage.

Step 5: Lock the Catch by the Front Right Castors
- Locate the Catch: Find the catch near the front right castors (small wheels at the front of the buggy).
- Secure the Catch: Once the buggy is fully folded, lock this catch to keep the buggy securely in its folded position.
Safety Tips
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure there are no objects or debris obstructing the folding mechanisms.
- Apply Even Pressure: When pulling locks and handles, apply even pressure to avoid sudden movements.
- Regular Maintenance: Periodically check all locking mechanisms for wear and tear.
- Handle with Care: While the buggy is designed for durability, handling it gently will prolong its lifespan and maintain safety standards.
Following these steps will ensure that you fold the Elise Travel Buggy safely and efficiently.
